How to Brown Pork Chops

One of the most easy yet delicious meals you can make for your family is browned pork chops. See below for a simple guide to help you create the perfect golden crunchy pork chops with only a few simple steps!

Instructions:

  • Pre-heat a heavy based skillet, preferably cast iron. Add the desired amount of oil to the pan and place over medium-high heat.
  • Generously season both sides of your pork chops with your preferred choice of herbs and spices. Sprinkle on some salt and pepper for added flavor.
  • Once the pan is hot, place the pork chops in the skillet and allow to sear without being touched for 3 to 4 minutes. Flip over the pork chops and cook the other side for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Optionally, you can further brown the pork chops by constantly moving the chops around to create an evenly golden brown crust all around.
  • Once the pork chops are browned to your desired liking, remove from the pan and serve warm!
