Deleting Add-Ons from Your PS4
PlayStation 4 players have the ability to download and install additional content for their games, such as extra levels, characters, and game modes. Games with multiple DLCs, or “Downloadable Content,” can become cluttered with a variety of content. If you're looking to clean up your game library, deleting add-ons is a simple way to do it. Doing so will remove the content from your console but still keep your saved game data.
Instructions
- Access the Settings app on your PS4's dashboard.
- Go to the Application Saved Data Management menu.
- Select Saved Data on System Storage in the submenu.
- Find the game with the add-on content you want to delete.
- Choose the add-on content and hit the Delete button.
- Confirm that you want to delete the content in the following popup menu.
- The add-on content you selected will be removed from your system.
Keep in mind that deleting add-ons from the dashboard may not be as effective as they can be reinstalled by accessing the Store app. If you wish to completely remove them, go to the Settings tab in the game's Library page and select the Delete option from the drop-down menu.
