Troubleshooting Your PS4 Controller

If your PS4 controller won't connect to your console, there are a few troubleshooting methods that you can try to get it working again. To fix your PS4 controller, follow these steps:

  1. Unplug your PS4 and controller from the power source. Wait a few seconds and then plug them back in.
  2. While your console is plugged in, press and hold the power button for at least seven seconds. This will perform a "hard reboot" on your console.
  3. Unplug your controller and connect it to your console using a USB cable. If you are using the DualShock 4 wireless controller, make sure to press and hold the PlayStation button before pairing.
  4. Check to see if your controller is now connected. If not, unplug the USB cable and reset your controller using the reset button located beneath the L2 trigger.

By following these steps, you should be able to get your PS4 controller fixed and ready for use. If none of these methods work, you may need to consider replacing the controller.
