Remove an Ink Stain from a Touch Screen

Touch screen devices make our lives more convenient, but their sensitive screens are susceptible to smudging, staining, and general wear and tear. If you have an ink stain on your touch screen device, here’s a guide for removal.

  1. Gently dab the spot with a soft, damp cloth. Do not rub or scrub the area. This will help remove any dust and dirt particles that will interfere with the stain removal.
  2. Spray a microfiber cloth with a 50-50 solution of water and rubbing alcohol. Rub the cloth across the stain in a circular motion. This will help break down the ink.
  3. Wipe the area with a new, damp cloth. Repeat until the ink is removed.
  4. Spray glass cleaner on the area and wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth. This will ensure that all of the ink residue is removed.
