If you've decided to discontinue using the Square payment service, you will need to delete your Square account in order to completely end your account. Deleting your Square account will remove your profile information, as well as any stored payment information. To delete your Square account, follow these steps:
You will receive an email from Square confirming that your account has been deleted. Please note that you must delete your profile within 30 days of receiving this email notification; otherwise, your account will be reactivated. Once your Square account is deleted, you can no longer access any of your payment or customer information.
