How to Add Text to Reels and Change Duration
Are you looking to spice up your Instagram Reels? Adding text and changing the duration of your clips is a great way to add interesting visual effects to your social media videos. Here are the steps to get started.
- Open the Reels tab in the Instagram camera from the story page.
- Choose the clips you want to add text to and adjust the duration.
- Tap the pen icon at the top of the screen to add text to your Reels.
- Type in the text you want to appear and choose the position you want it to appear in.
- Change the type of text animation and font size.
- Play the Reels to look it over and make sure everything is as you want it.
- To change the duration of the Reels, split your clip using the scissors icon at the bottom right corner.
- Shrink or expand the length of your Reels by changing the duration of each clip.
- Preview your Reels one last time to make sure it looks right.
- Press share and post your Reels to Instagram.
