Washing Grapes
Grapes are a delicious and healthy snack but require a bit of preparation before eating. To ensure your grapes are clean and safe to eat, follow these steps:
- Rinse grapes in a colander with cold running water. Check for any visible dirt or debris.
- Fill a large bowl with cold water and add 1-2 teaspoons vinegar. This helps remove any residual dirt or bacteria.
- Place the grapes into the cold water/vinegar mixture and swirl them around with your hands.
- Rinse the grapes in cold water one more time before placing them in a clean bowl.
- Allow the grapes to sit in the clean bowl for a few minutes to ensure they are completely clean and dry.
Now your grapes are clean, and safe to snack on! It’s also a good idea to remove any grapes that look damaged or rotten before eating.
