How to Make Jello Frosting
Jello frosting is a fun and easy way to add a jiggly, colorful surprise to a range of desserts. The process of making Jello frosting is simple and quick, and can add a pop of flavor and color to frost a cake, cupcakes, or even cookies.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Jello (any flavor)
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup of softened butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
- In a medium-sized bowl, stir together the Jello and boiling water until the Jello is completely dissolved.
- Add the cold water to the Jello mixture and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the softened butter, vanilla extract, and 2 cups of the confectioners' sugar.
- Add the Jello mixture to the butter mixture and mix until combined. If the frosting is too stiff, add more cold water to loosen the frosting.
- Slowly add in the remaining 2 cups of confectioners' sugar until the desired consistency is reached.
