How to Make Jello Frosting

Jello frosting is a fun and easy way to add a jiggly, colorful surprise to a range of desserts. The process of making Jello frosting is simple and quick, and can add a pop of flavor and color to frost a cake, cupcakes, or even cookies.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Jello (any flavor)
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, stir together the Jello and boiling water until the Jello is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the cold water to the Jello mixture and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the softened butter, vanilla extract, and 2 cups of the confectioners' sugar.
  4. Add the Jello mixture to the butter mixture and mix until combined. If the frosting is too stiff, add more cold water to loosen the frosting.
  5. Slowly add in the remaining 2 cups of confectioners' sugar until the desired consistency is reached.
  6. Use the frosting to decorate cakes, cupcakes, or cookies.
