How to Hang Weed Eaters
If you're looking for a convenient way to store and save your weed eater, hanging it up on the wall is the perfect way to keep it out of harm's way. It's a great way to keep your garage or shed organized and tidy too. Here are few things you'll need to do to hang up your weed eater correctly.
- Find a sturdy wall to hang your weed eater on. If you have a garage wall or a steel wall in your shed, these walls are sturdy enough to take the weight.
- Measure the distance between the two mounting screws on the weed eater. Make sure you measure correctly and leave enough room to hang the weed eater without any interference.
- Secure a piece of wood to the wall. This should be at least as thick as the distance between the two mounting screws on the weed eater.
- Drill two holes through the piece of wood for the mounting screws. Drill the holes in such a way so that when the weed eater is hung, the handles will be facing downwards. Once, the holes are drilled, mount the piece of wood onto the wall.
- Position the weed eater and insert the mounting screws into the two holes. Make sure the screws are secured firmly.
- Carefully lift the weed eater onto the screws, making sure the screws don't slip out.
- Finally, if you feel the need to secure your weed eater further you can use nuts and bolts. Doing so will provide a more secure mount and prevent any accidents.
Your weed eater is now safely hanging without taking up any valuable floor space!
