Seeing Your IP Address on a PC, Mac, Android, or iOS
Viewing your IP address is simple and can be done in a few quick steps. It’s a useful piece of info for troubleshooting network connectivity issues and can help you identify potential security risks in your network.
PC
To find your IP address on a Windows PC, open Command Prompt and enter “ipconfig.” The result should list your IPv4 address.
Mac
On Mac, open System Preferences, click “Network,” and your IP address will be listed in the window under “Status.”
Android
For Android devices, open your Settings app, choose “Wi-Fi & Internet” from the menu, and click “Wi-Fi Options”. Your IP address should be listed in the connection details.
iOS
On iOS devices, open the Settings app, click “Wi-Fi,” and your IP address will be listed in the Connection section next to “IP Address.”
