  • Cut out one piece to form the base of the car.
  • Glue the car body together using a glue gun or paper glue.
  • Attach a rubber band to the back of the car for the wheels.

  • Poke a hole in each wheel and attach the wheels to four straws.
  • Cut four shorter straws and attach each one to one of the long straws.

This method requires a bit more effort but yields a realistic looking car. This method is great for older kids who enjoy more intricate projects.

  • Gather materials to build the car body such as cardboard, wood, foam, or plastic.
  • Cut out the pieces of your car body and glue them together.
  • ¼ Drill holes on the top of the car for the axles.

  • Draw and cut out the car body from the Styrofoam sheet.
  • Draw and cut out four wheel shapes from cardboard or thick paper.
  • Poke a hole in each wheel and attach it to the axles.
