Using the PayPal Debit Card
The PayPal debit card is a fast and convenient way to access the funds in your PayPal account. With a few simple steps, you can use your PayPal debit card to shop online or in-person, pay bills, or manage your money.
Activating Your Card
The PayPal debit card will arrive via mail. Once you receive it, you will need to activate it before you can use it. To do this:
- Log into your PayPal account.
- Go to the “Settings” tab and select “Payment options.”
- Select “Manage my debit and credit cards.”
- Click “Activate card” under the PayPal Debit Card section.
- Enter the 8-digit card number and 3-digit security code located on the back of the card.
Making Purchases
You can use the PayPal debit card to make purchases in-store or online, just like any other debit card. To do this:
- At the store: Swipe your debit card and enter your PIN.
- Online: Enter the debit card information when prompted. You may need to enter the 3-digit CVV code located on the back of the card.
Managing Your Money
Using the PayPal debit card, you can add money to your PayPal account from an existing bank account, reload a prepaid card, or access your cash at an ATM. To do this:
- Log into your PayPal account.
- Go to the “Settings” tab and select “Payment options.”
- Select“Manage my debit and credit cards.”
- Select the “Add money” or “Reload a prepaid card” option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction.
