Undo in Pages on Mac, iOS, and iCloud

Keeping track of all of the changes you make to documents can be a tricky task, but with the undo command you can roll your document back in time to an earlier version! Follow this guide to learn how to undo changes in Pages on Mac, iOS, and iCloud.

Mac

  1. Open the Pages document you wish to undo changes.
  2. Head to the Edit menu in the top toolbar, and select Undo.
  3. Alternatively, you can press the keyboard shortcut Command + Z to quickly undo a change.

iOS

  1. Open the Pages document you wish to undo changes.
  2. If the Undo option does not already appear on the bottom toolbar, tap the pencil and paper icon on the bottom toolbar. This will display the Undo and Redo options.
  3. Tap the Undo option to roll back your document.

iCloud

  1. Open the Pages document you wish to undo changes using a web browser.
  2. If the Undo option does not already appear on the bottom toolbar, click the pencil and paper icon on the bottom toolbar. This will display the Undo and Redo options.
  3. Click the Undo option to roll back your document.
