Syncing Audio and Video
When audio and video are off-sync it can ruin your viewing experience, as sound trails behind the action. Fortunately, there are a few steps you can take to sync audio with its associated video.
Syncing with Video Editing Software
- Launch your video editing software.
- Import the video and audio files you wish to sync.
- Use the timeline to separate out the audio and video.
- Adjust the audio or video timing by dragging the file along the timeline.
- Check the sync between the audio and video.
- Once you are happy with the sync export the newly synchronized video.
Syncing with an External Utility
- Download and install a video sync utility.
- Launch the program and locate the video and audio files you need to sync.
- Slide the slider to make sure the audio and video have the same start and end points.
- Adjust the audio or video timing by using the timeline.
- Check the sync between the audio and video.
- Render the video when you are happy with the synchronization.
