How to Cut Video Clips with Openshot Video Editor

This guide will show you how to use Openshot Video Editor to cut and edit your videos.

Instructions

1. Download and install Openshot Video Editor if you haven't already done so.

2. Launch Openshot Video Editor when the download and installation processes are complete.

3. Click on the “File” tab and select the “New Project” option.

4. When the user interface opens, click on the “Import Files” button to select the specific video clips you would like to cut.

5. Select the video clips by using the shift key and drag and drop them into the timeline window.

6. Select the desired split points by dragging the markers at the beginning and end points.

7. When you have chosen the precise video clip you want to obtain, right-click and select the “Split Clip” option.

8. Use the split clips to rearrange and construct your desired sequence.

9. Lastly, export your edited video clip by clicking on the “Export Video” tab.
