Clear Recently Closed Tabs in Google Chrome

Closing tabs in Google Chrome lets you restore the page or pages you are looking for even after you have left them. However, the closing of the tabs is also recorded in history, making it possible for you to review them. This guide shows you how to clear the recently closed tabs in Google Chrome.

Steps

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click on More at the top right-hand corner of the browser.
  3. Select History.
  4. Click on Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Select the type of data you want to clear. Click on the arrow to view the list of data
  6. Select Tabs From Other Devices under the Browsing and Download History option.
  7. Click on the Clear Data button to clear the recently closed tabs.
