Discord is a virtual community focused on communication, gaming, and collaboration. One thing that is common across all these uses is messaging, which allows users to stay in touch with one another. Unfortunately, messages can get lost or deleted, so if you're trying to find a deleted message on your Discord, here's how to do it.

Steps to See Deleted Messages on Discord

  1. Make sure you have “Developer Mode” enabled. To do this, go to your user settings, click on “Appearance”, and enable “Developer Mode”.
  2. Right-click on the server/channel where the message was deleted and select “Copy ID”.

  4. In the Discord chat window, type “/search ”, replacing with the ID you copied in Step 2.
  5. Press Enter and your message will be retrieved.
