The largest volcanoes in the inner Solar System are found on Mars. The most notable among them is Olympus Mons, which is the tallest volcano and the largest known volcano in the entire Solar System. Olympus Mons is a shield volcano located on the Martian surface and stands at an impressive height of about 22 kilometers (13.6 miles) above the surrounding plains. It has a diameter of approximately 600 kilometers (370 miles), making it much larger than any volcano found on Earth.

Other large volcanoes on Mars include Arsia Mons, Pavonis Mons, and Ascraeus Mons, which, while not as tall as Olympus Mons, are still significantly larger than most volcanoes found on Earth. These volcanoes are evidence of Mars' geologically active past and are believed to have been formed through volcanic activity over billions of years.
