Oxygen always has an oxidation number of $-2$ unless in peroxides, like $H_2O_2$, where it has an oxidation of $-1$.

When $O$ is attached to an even more electronegative element ($F$), it has a positive oxidation number.

You can also check this because $F$ normally has an oxidation of $-1$ in its compounds, so

$(O)+2(F)=0$

$(+2)+2(-1)=0$
