The outermost part of Earth is its atmosphere which is mostly made of nitrogen and oxygen with smaller amounts of carbon dioxide, argon, and water vapor.

The rocky outer layer of Earth, called the crust, is mainly made up of oxygen, silicon, aluminum, iron, calcium, sodium, potassium, and magnesium.

Below the crust is Earth's mantle, which contains silicon, iron, magnesium, aluminum, oxygen and other minerals.

Lastly, deep inside Earth is its core, which is almost entirely iron and nickel .
