Phagocytosis is the term used for the engulfing of a foreign body by a cell of the immune system.
There are different cells that can perform phagocytosis such as monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, etc.
Phagocyte, hence, is a generic term for cells that perform phagocytosis.
