How to Delete a Google Maps Pin on iPhone or iPad
Google Maps on your iPhone or iPad is a great tool for visualizing your routes and exploring the world. With all the data it contains, you’ll undoubtedly discover plenty of points of interest. You may even pin a location for easy reference later on. However, over time, those pins may pile up if you've come to no longer use them. Here's how to delete a Google Maps pin on your device.
Steps
- Open Google Maps on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on the hamburger menu at the top-left of the screen.
- Select Your Places from the slide-out menu.
- Choose Labeled from the list of options.
- Locate the pin you wish to delete.
- Tap on the three-dot icon next to the pin.
- Select Delete this Label from the options.
- Confirm the action by tapping Delete Label.
The pin is now removed from your list. You can always add the pin again if you later need to refer to it.
