How to Wipe System Cache in Google Pixel 6 Pro

Caching acts as a temporary memory for a device, allowing frequently used data to be accessed quickly. Over time, however, the stored information can become outdated and lead to application errors and lagging. To speed up your Google Pixel 6 Pro, it's essential to occasionally wipe the system cache.

Instructions

  1. Open the Settings app. You can do this by tapping the cog icon on the home screen.
  2. Scroll to the top of the list, select System, then tap Advanced. From the next window select System updates and use the Storage option to clear the cache.
  3. If the Storage option is unavailable, select System, scroll down and tap Storage. Then select Cached data to clear the cache.
