Using Your 2012 Ford Fusion's Microsoft Sync System for Phone Use with a Two-Lined Display
Having a hands-free device in your Ford Fusion will make it easier to talk on the phone while driving. This guide will help you set up a two-lined display on your 2012 Ford Fusion’s Microsoft Sync system so you can easily make and receive phone calls.
Instructions
- Turn on the Microsoft Sync system by pressing the “Power” button on the front. The display will appear on the 2-line display.
- From the main menu, select “Phone.”
- Choose “Add Phone.”
- Select your phone type.
- Scroll down and select “Done.”
- When prompted, enter a four digit code. This code is used to pair your phone with the Sync system.
- Choose “Skip” and then “Done” to confirm the pairing.
- Your phone should now appear on the 2-line display. Select the phone and then “Done” to finish the setup process.
- Select “Phone” and then either “Talk” or “Contacts” to make or receive phone calls.
- To end the call, press the “Hang Up” button on the steering wheel.
