Using Apple Pay to Make In-Store Purchases
You can use your iPhone and Apple Pay to make secure and convenient in-store purchases. Whether you're shopping for groceries, clothes, or entertainment, this digital wallet provides you with a safe and speedy alternative to traditional payment methods.
Instructions
- Activate your card in Apple Pay. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone, select the card you’d like to use, and tap “Activate.” Follow the prompts to securely enter your card information.
- Look for the Contactless Payment symbol. When you’re ready to pay, look for the NFC (Near Field Communication) symbol, which looks like a series of concentric circles. This symbol indicates that you can use Apple Pay at the checkout.
- Bring your device close to the reader. When at the checkout, simply hold your iPhone near the card reader with your finger on the Touch ID. You'll receive a confirmation on your device, and you're good to go.
- Make sure you receive confirmation that the payment has gone through. You should receive an alert that the payment has gone through, so make sure to confirm this before leaving the store.
