Download Original Photos to your iPhone
If you want to save all of your photos in their original quality on your iPhone, then turning off iCloud sync may be the answer. Follow these simple steps and you'll be able to keep all of your photos in their original quality.
Step 1: Turn off iCloud sync
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone, and head to the iCloud section. Now, simply turn off the switch next to Photos, and wait for it to confirm.
Step 2: Download your photos
Open the Photos app on your iPhone, and tap on the Albums tab. Now, select the photos you want to save (or select them all). Tap the share icon, then choose Download. A dialog box will appear asking if you're sure you want to download the selected photos in their original quality. Confirm, and the photos will begin downloading.
Step 3: Check for the original photos
Once the download has finished, open the Photos app and press on the Albums tab once again. You should find a folder labeled 'Downloaded' which contains your recently downloaded photos in the same quality they were taken in.
