How to Download & Save Facebook Messages
Facebook messages can be an easy way to communicate with a long list of friends and family. You can also use them to share important announcements, pictures, and more. Fortunately, you can also download and save your messages so you can refer back to them easily. This guide will help you learn how to download and save your messages:
Method 1: Download & Save on Desktop
- Open your Facebook page on your computer or laptop.
- Go to your Facebook messages section. This can be done by clicking on the Messages tab in the top middle of the page.
- Choose the conversation you would like to download.
- Grab the text you would like to save by highlighting it with your mouse and click CRTL+C at the same time.
- Make a note or save the text to a folder for safekeeping.
Method 2: Download & Save on Mobile
- Open your Facebook page on your phone or tablet.
- Go to your Facebook messages section. This can be done by clicking on the messages icon located at the bottom right of the page.
- Choose the conversation you would like to download.
- Tap and hold the message you would like to save.
- Choose the "Copy" option that appears.
- Navigate to your Notes app to paste the message.
